Information on the processing of your personal data
The purpose of this privacy notice is to inform you as to how ZimVie UK Ltd (hereinafter “ZimVie”, “we”, “us”) collects and processes personal data about you, how we use and protect this information, and your rights in relation to this information.

This privacy notice is relevant to you if you are a potential customer of ZimVie considering engaging us.
Personal data we use
We will collect the following types of personal data about you from a variety of sources.
Information we collect from you directly

Providing the information above is voluntary, however, failure to provide this information may result in us not being able to progress our business relationship with you.
We do not collect any special category data about you.
Image Rights Authorization:
By checking the relevant consent box in this document, you grant ZimVie, the revocable, non-exclusive and worldwide right (incl. via Internet and via social media platforms) to use your name, image, photos and voice captured or recorded in audio or video format (hereinafter, “My Images and Other Related Media”) by ZimVie or any other ZimVie Group company (https://www.zimvie.com/Legal-Global-Privacy-Policy#appendix-1-list-of-data-controllers) located outside the European Economic Area. You acknowledge that you will not receive any compensation for the concession of such right to ZimVie.
This right is granted for the purpose of creating, publishing, and/or sharing marketing and educational content related to ZimVie’s business and educational activities, whether in print or digital format (mainly, on ZimVie’s corporate website, social media channels and internal platforms) This authorization is valid for a period of five (5) years from the date of consent.
Please note that you can exercise your rights, including the withdrawal of your consent, before the ZimVie DPO at the email address stated in the below section “Your Rights with regards to the processing of your personal data”.
Purpose and lawful bases for the processing of your personal data
The purposes and lawful bases for the collection and processing of your personal data are the following:

- Consent, for the following purposes:
- To organize commercial visits;
- To maintain and manage a business relationship with you where you have shown an interest. For example, conducting surveys and providing newsletters;
- To prevent and fight fraud;
- To take steps prior to entering a contract with you, at your request. For example, to send you relevant information about any potential future contract with us, including the resolution of questions, queries or issues.
- To send you commercial communications relating to products offered by ZimVie, including offers, promotions, and information regarding events and/or courses organized by ZimVie on its own products;
- In relation to the capturing or recording of your name, image and/or voice: to create, publish and/ or share whether in print or digital support (mainly, on ZimVie’s corporate website, social media channels and internal platforms), marketing and educational content in connection with ZimVie’s business and education activities, by ZimVie or any of its group companies (https://www.zimvie.com/Legal-Global-Privacy-Policy#appendix-1-list-of-data-controllers );
- We may obtain your explicit consent to collect and use certain types of personal data when we are required to do so by law. If we ask for your consent to process your personal data, you may withdraw your consent at any time by contacting us using the details above.
For these purposes, ZimVie has checked and analyzed that your interests or fundamental rights and freedoms are not seriously impaired or affected.
You can object to the reception of commercial communications (by any means, including e-mail) about marketed products, including offers, promotions and information regarding events and/or training, educational or similar courses at any time by sending an email to zv.ukorders@zimvie.com.
Recipients of your personal data
ZimVie may share your personal data with the following categories of recipients:

- Data processors for the provision of professional services. ZimVie may also share personal data with third party service providers such as, for example, without limitation, external lawyers, auditors, debt collection agencies, marketing and communication agencies and delivery companies. Such providers will process the data exclusively for the provision of the services related to the development of the activities of ZimVie.
- Business operations. ZimVie may share your personal data to third parties with which it carries out a business operation such as a merger, division, global transfer of assets and liabilities, transfer or contribution of business or line of business, or any corporate restructuring operation of similar nature, under commercial laws, based on the legitimate interest in fulfilment of the operation.
International data transfers
ZimVie may transfer your personal data to the categories of recipients below, some of which are located in countries outside the United Kingdom or Ireland, including countries which do not offer a level of protection of the data similar to the United Kingdom or Ireland. ZimVie has implemented the technical and organizational security measures necessary to guarantee the security of your personal data.
Your rights with regard to the processing of your personal data
As a potential customer you may exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, portability, restriction of processing and, as the case may be, objection and/or withdrawal of consent (in addition to the right not to be subject to a decision based solely on automated processing —including profiling—) in the terms and conditions provided under applicable data protection laws, by addressing to the following email address: privacy.emea@zimvie.com in accordance with ZimVie EMEA Data Privacy notice https://www.zimvie.eu/en/privacy-notice.html.
Additionally, as a potential customer (depending on your location) you have the right to address any claim or request to the UK Data Protection Authority or Irish Data Protection Authority.

Personal data retention
We will only retain your personal data for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes we collected it for. We will delete your personal data when it is no longer required for these purposes. If there is any information that we are unable, for technical reasons, to delete entirely from our systems, we will put in place appropriate measures to prevent any further processing or use of the data.
